About Grant Pope

I am currently a 2nd year pursuing a bachelor's in aerospace engineering at the University of Cincinnati. I am a very hard worker and passionate learner who will work persistently on any challenges. I also take great pride in my work, which is seen through my precision in everything I do. I have worked on many teams in high school, including a team that planned a trip to mars. My most recent group project included programming a robot that walks with legs like an insect, in which I took a leadership role. I also built a balsam wood glider with a specific airfoil that I designed, and a miniature rocket in which I focused on weight distribution and fin structure. Peers I have worked with, teachers, and co-workers all describe me as persistent, creative, and a very good team leader. I was involved in engineering-based classes at my high school that gave me a good background in terms of building skills that are crucial to engineering.
