About Grant Saunders

Grant Is currently a cook at Fortinos hot foods in Hamilton and has been at that location for over 2 years. his job consists of cooking food and selling it to customers. Here he has learned a number of skills the notables being; the importance of up-selling, often the low man is the face of the company for the consumer, and commitment to long term goals. Grant is a 3rd semester full-time student at Mohawk College in the 2 year Marketing program. he has also attended Brock University but could not find his educational passion at Brock University. He was enrolled in 2 different programs at Brock University, Parks, Recreation, and Leisure Studies, and, Concurrent Education. Grant Has also had an assortment of summer jobs that helped him become a well rounded individual with a broad spectrum of transferrable skills. These jobs are: 4 summers as a Camp Counsellor with the City of Hamilton, 1 summer as a Landscaper with Green Trail Landscaping, and 1 summer as a Pool Cleaner with John's Pool Cleaning. Each job has helped Grant Grow as a person and better himself. From these jobs he has learned how to get along with people from ages 4-80+. He has also learned teamwork skills, and through teamwork how to be a follower and a leader when it best fits. He has learned how to do hard work in non-ideal environments, and how to efficiently complete the task at hand. Grant believes that he has worked different jobs, and taken different programs and they have only made him better and he is now more focused to accomplish something he is interested in, being a career in Marketing.
