I'm an experienced engineering professional seeking the next opportunity to utilize my talents and experience - engineering, general aviation, digital photography, and volunteer teaching. I Managed a very successful field test of a D6K tractor and two local competitors on site in Piracaba, Brazil. I trained local employees, and utilizing this team, completed the testing, data analysis, and reporting within the two weeks that I had on site. The customer was delighted with the deliverable, and has used this in marketing the product. I also learned how complicated it is to obtain a Brazilian work visa. I successfully managed and completed a high volume machine development program while working directly with the product group customer in Europe. Since going into production (400 + units so far), this product has received very good feedback. I had three other similar programs in flight. I managed the budgeting, forecasting, and actuals reporting for the programs that I was responsible, winning an award for forecasting accuracy multiple times. I supervised a group of up to 14 engineers and technicians to deliver multiple, international machine development programs on time and budget. I initiated and led a facility safety improvement project to develop a program to integrate the use of wheel chocks into daily operations at multiple facilities. This involved developing a team,VOC, and designing mounting/storage methods both on machine and in facility, and implementing the policy at the facilities. I was a founding member of a facility employee engagement team to provide events and activities to engage employees in more social interactions at work and outside. One example that I created and have managed over multiple years is a facility car show that has grown over the years. I've been a classroom volunteer teacher for Junior Achievement Since 1994 I earned my private pilot license at 17 - the youngest allowed I've often been told that I have a "radio voice".
