About Grant Wilcox

My name is Grant Wilcox. I was born and raised in a small rural town in southwestern Nebraska named McCook. I grew up knowing what a hard day's work felt like. My grandfather, my mother's father, owns a farm where I would periodically help with day to day tasks. On my father's side of the family, his father is a World War II veteran. In his day he taught agriculture to people all around the world. Not only was he a teacher but he was also a carpenter, so was my father. This is where my love for construction came to be. I started out in the construction field with a roofing company when I was a sophomore in high school. From there, I worked part time for a residential home builder in McCook. Now that I am attending college in Omaha, I work for a residential framing company while pursuing a degree in Construction Management. This summer I will have my first experience in the commercial general contracting industry with Hensel Phelps in Greely, CO. I only hope to continue my experiences from there.
