About Grayson Glaze

As the executive director of the Alabama Center for Real Estate (ACRE) housed within the Culverhouse College of Business at the University of Alabama, I am blessed with the opportunity to build relationships with like-minded professionals and companies who are passionate about advancing our real estate industry. In addition, I serve as an adjunct professor for UA's Culverhouse College of Business where my area of expertise is property management/brokerage. The vision of the Alabama Center for Real Estate is to be a valued resource that supports Alabama's real estate industry and promotes economic and workforce development. The Center is committed to industry engagement and dedicated to shaping the future of real estate through excellence in teaching, research, and service. In addition, the Center also acts as an industry liaison to benefit students across the state and nation pursuing a career in real estate. Announced in May 2021, I serve as founding member of the "REimagined" real estate industry diversity initiative. Please consider learning more & supporting our championship efforts deliver by our first program, CORE (Career Opportunities in Real Estate) I'm honored with the opportunity to currently serve as faculty member on the ICSC Academic Advisory Committee. In 2021, I served as the national 2021 Chair of the University Outreach Subcommittee of the CCIM Institute, Vice-Chair of the Ethics Committee for the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) and faculty member of the ICSC Academic Advisory Committee. I recently completed my term as 19/20 IREM Regional Vice President (AL/AR/LA/MS) and remain an active ambassador of IREM's Student and Academic Advisory (served on HBCU Student Outreach Task Force). In 2019, I thoroughly enjoyed serving as the President of the Alabama Chapter of the CCIM Institute as was the case in 2012 while serving as President of the Alabama Chapter of IREM. I also served as a member of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta's Affordable Housing Council from 2012 to 2018.
