About Grayson Howes
I’m a Junior at Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business pursuing a B.S. in Marketing with a minor in Fashion Studies. I was born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, where I completed most of my high school degree before enrolling in a private high school based in California where I had the opportunity to travel the world with my parents. This experience fostered my global lens, ignited my passions, and has shaped me into who I am today.At Fordham, as a Marketing Scholars Candidate, I am one of 30 students in a program aimed at providing unique, high-profile opportunities to advance marketing careers through visits to leading advertising agencies and exposure to other industry-leading professionals. On campus, I am also a member of the Fordham Marketing Association.I’m currently working as a Marketing Strategist Intern at RentOui, a community-driven, peer-to-peer luxury start-up for lending, renting, and selling designer handbags, where I plan and execute their social media strategy, designing content for use across TikTok and Instagram. As a collaborator with the Visual Merchandising team at Lululemon, I executed product presentation, styling, and in-store marketing elements to optimize guest experiences and collaborated with team members to educate guests and articulate the benefits and values of products. I gained valuable merchandising, product marketing, retail sales, and customer experience skills at Lululemon.Within Fordham’s academics, there are two iconic programs that have allowed me to work in team settings for extended periods where I generated deep analysis and research to support a large final presentation. As part of Gabelli's Consulting Cup, I worked with a team of my peers to develop a comprehensive solution to HanesBrands substantial debt issue by creating a new product line called,"HanesSculpt" a new affordable shape-wear line that is marketed towards Gen-Z consumers. During my freshman year, my team participated in the Ground Floor challenge with our comprehensive business plan for Spiked, a product that detects drugs in drinks to provide drink safety to college students.
