We can make you smile" DentalCares (901-302-9924) Dr. G. Scott Ross hails from the midwest, born in Minneapolis, MN. Dr. Ross has also lived in Texas and Nebraska. He came to Memphis in 1965 and finished school at Central High School. Dr. Ross obtained his B.S. in Biology from what was then known as Memphis State University and his D.D.S from the University of Tennessee in 1976. His personal interests are in the arts with extensive experience in performance arts; opera, symphony, theatre, ballet, piano, karate, and yoga. Dr. Ross is a non-denominational protestant with membership with the methodist church. Following graduation, he served in the United States Navy in Yuma AZ, where he was Lieutenant, Branch Dental Facility, MCAS, Forensics Officer, Narcotics Officer, Head of Periodontal Department, Head of Plastic and Oral Surgery, and later returned to Memphis to pursue dentistry in private practice. Dr. Ross brings with him many years of experience in all area of dentistry and patient care. He also holds a membership with American Dental Association, Tennessee Dental Association, Shelby County Dental Association, and the Memphis Dental Legion and is a fellow of L.D.
