About Greg Alexander

I have always had an abiding interest in community development and effective communication strategies (such as NVC: non-violent communication). I enjoy bringing my full and focused self to the workplace every day, and then recharge my batteries by having the opportunity to explore and express my other passions in the off-time. Having held many positions in the hospitality industry across a variety of venues – including catering (from meetings to upscale parties and events), restaurant service, and guest-interaction at several amusement parks – I have learned how to engage with the public in a nuanced and dynamic way. I have always had an authentic desire to help people feel comfortable and valued, which is why I feel especially suited to creating and maintaining welcoming spaces. My awareness of the many possible ways to curate a guest experience may have begun with my mother who is a college professor of hospitality. In addition, my backgrounds in the performing arts and healing arts make me a uniquely friendly and adaptable customer-service personality.
