Greg brings to the table 28 years of experience in the aspects of plant and field operation, with a reputation for being a solid influence as a Seasoned Oil and Gas industry Professional. He strategically collaborates with key personnel, contractors, and stakeholders for the improvement of operations to achieve business objectives. Greg was born in Lloydminster, SK and presently resides in Paradise Valley, AB. He is passionate about Stoneworking. This is a passion that he developed a number of years ago. Something crafted in stone should bring a sense of peace and timelessness. It should tell a story that touches something deep within. He loves that he can leave a piece of himself in every piece that he creates for others to enjoy. His passion ties to his career as it teaches patience, attention to detail, problem-solving, creativity, the ability to see the bigger picture, dedication, perseverance, balance, the ability to guide and work with others. Most importantly, it shows what a good attitude, hard work, and dedication can accomplish at the end of every job. Greg likes the fact that there are many different aspects to the operating position that keeps one challenged and engaged. The role is continually evolving which keeps it interesting. The outdoor work is great, as is the ability to work with others or by himself. He appreciates the challenge of problem-solving and troubleshooting as this involves understanding a system process. The better one understands it, the quicker you can resolve issues, the smoother and more efficient you can have it run. On an educational front, Greg has completed the Gas Process Operations at Lakeland College in Lloydminster in 2008 and currently studying 4th level Power Engineering. A few of the key skills that Greg brings forward include interpersonal relations, willingness to learn, and excellent leadership skills. He strongly believes that success depends on the value of strong working relationships, built on integrity and respect for diversity. Greg continues to be focused on improving his position as a dynamic operator, developing his cutting-edge skills in plant / field operations. He takes personal satisfaction in tackling new challenges with a competitive edge as he advances his career within an ever-changing industry. He welcomes positions in alignment with his present career ambitions, such as Gas Plant Worker / Field Operator, SAGD Field Operator, or Process Operator.
