About Greg Barr

As a seasoned investment professional with over 30 years of experience, I specialise in providing strategic investment advice to investment committees and boards across a range of institutional clients. Since joining Frontier in 2016, I have held the role of Principal Consultant, where I lead the complex superannuation client segment. My responsibilities include delivering tailored investment solutions, overseeing manager research, and contributing to the firm's Investment Committee and business development activities. Before Frontier, I served as Head of the Melbourne-based investment consulting team at Mercer, where I guided clients through complex financial landscapes and investment strategies. My previous role as Director and Head of Manager Research at Standard & Poor’s involved being a key contributor to establishing the manager research business in Australia, leading the research team with previous roles heading up fixed income and alternatives research. Early in my career, I spent five years at National Mutual Funds Management, further refining my expertise in the investment industry. I hold a Bachelor of Science (Hons) from Monash University, a Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning from Finsia, and have completed RG146. My goal is to help clients achieve superior investment outcomes through research-driven advice and a deep understanding of financial markets.
