About Greg Baughn

Greg spent 3 years at Providence Christian Academy as Business Manager.(2012-2015) He has recently joined the Oakland International Baccalaureate High School as a Business and Marketing Teacher. Greg has recently taken a new role as Teacher and asst boys basketball coach at Rockvale HS. Greg is the former owner of Great Harvest Bread Company in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. He sold his company in June 2011 to pursue a career in Educational Leadership. His background includes 12 years in education. Five of those years were spent as the Head Boys Basketball Coach at Apollo High School in Owensboro, Kentucky. Some of his accomplishments include winning the prestigious King of the Bluegrass Tournament in Louisville, Kentucky in 2002-03 and in 2003-04. He was named Coach of Year by the Messenger Inquirer and the Kentucky Association of Basketball Coaches in the 2002-03 school year. He also coached the Apollo Eagles to a 3rd region title in 2003-04. Greg stepped down as the Coach of the Apollo Eagles to pursue a dream of owning his own business. While pursuing this dream, his family moved to Murfreesboro, Tennessee and he taught business education and coached volleyball for two years until he opened the store in September of 2006. Greg owned Great Harvest Bread Company from 2006 to 2011. Greg was a member of the Rutherford Co. Chamber of Commerce during those five years and his company received a best bread award five years running with Great Harvest Franchising. Greg holds a BA from Kentucky Wesleyan College in Acounting and Business Administration. He holds a MA in Business Education from the University of Kentucky. He also holds a MA + 30 certification from Western Kentucky University in Educational Leadership and an Ed.S in Administration and Supervision from Middle Tennessee State University.
