About Greg Bower

I graduated from The University of Utah in May of 2022, where I received a BS in Computer Science. I’m proficient in TS/JS, Java, Swift and C# and have had experience with iOS development, React Native, C++, C, Android, Python, Network technologies, MySQL, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap and ASP.Net Core framework and have studied Human Computer Interaction (HCI). I'm currently a Senior software engineer, developing mobile software with React Native and Typescript for the deaf and hard-of-hearing community. I also have many years of retail and customer service experience which has given me strong communications and empathy skills. I work well as part of a team or on my own and function well under pressure and thrive on meeting deadlines. Professionally, for 15 years prior to the pandemic, I worked as freelance composer/music producer and had taken on a wide range of composing/music production, audio engineering and sound design projects from gaming music and audio assets to commercial music licensing and artist music production. I've worked with and I am familiar with many different DAW computer systems and audio I/O peripherals. I've been able to troubleshoot connectivity, hardware, software and network issues on my own and tend to be the go to for troubleshooting in the studio.
