About Greg Castell

My professional experience combines ten years industry experience in telecommunications and software along with twelve years in higher education in primarily client facing technology roles. It is my objective to join a high performing team with inspirational leaders who cultivate a community with a shared sense of purpose. I believe empathy, compassion, and a sense of humor are essential qualities for today’s leaders along with a commitment to the greater purpose of supporting our community and environment. The most rewarding aspects of my career have always centered around developing relationships with people, being part of team, thinking creatively and transforming theory into practice. In addition, I have often served the role of connector between the spheres of business and technology, and I enjoy helping people understand and use information technology more effectively. In my free time, I enjoy exploring the outdoors with my family, tending our three sheep, instructing skiing in our school program, volunteering at church, and maintaining our local trail system. My personal interests include skiing, cycling, fishing and painting among others.
