I help Mid-level Managers in government and nonprofits regain control over the ever-increasing expectations and demands from various stakeholders in the workplace by developing relationship skills and strategies to Thrive in the Middle. The Problem -In every work sector, middle managers are feeling increasingly overwhelmed, buried in their workload, and burned out. They are receiving directives from above, managing their team below, and working with peers. Additionally, they’re facing the challenges of the remote and hybrid workplace. The Solution -Mid-level managers must learn how to manage up & down, and across the organization, so they can influence their work environment, instead of constantly reacting to the competing stakeholder demands of the environment. How I Help -I draw on my work experience as a middle manager who survived multiple staff reductions and coached hundreds of mid-level federal leaders/managers and teams in leadership development training-I invest personally in the growth of my clients. As an active listener, I help the client identify the underlying cause of problems, not just their symptoms, and develop solutions for overcoming these challenges.
