Allow me to highlight some of my major skills and talents- Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, a Masters in Education, and Certificates in Business Administration and Data Warehousing- Over 30 years of experience in Business and IT management, including technical Project Management, managing people, processes, and priorities- Excellent communication skills and can make presentations at all levels of the company, from line workers to the Board of Directors - A very strong sense of customer service for both internal and external customers- Successfully managed day-to-day operation of an IT department, dealing with Operational, Strategic, and long-term issues of a company - Participated in, as well as lead, strategic planning sessions. I am known for my innovative solutions to both Technical and Business problems/opportunities. My success is in helping people discover solutions through asking questions until we find the root need, then finding the resources to in people, processes, and data that will meet the need. Sometimes it is by putting people into environments that will allow them to flourish. Other times it may be by looking at processes differently and making them simpler. Clean and fresh data is often the fuel that is needed to create the knowledge for wise and actionable decisions. Actions, sometimes big, but more often small iterative actions, are the only way to move closer to a goal. My skill is in helping people find what it will take to take action.
