My career as a Food Retail Professional spans back to 1989 when I accepted my first job as a bagger with Safeway a day before my 16th birthday. I quickly found that working with people and selling good food, would bring me tremendous fulfillment and eventually be the industry I would seek to establish a career in. My career in the Food Retail Industry spans 26 years, and in that time my energy has been directed towards providing the highest level of guest service, retail execution, exceeding financial goals, and developing teams. As a leader of large teams, I’ve been encouraged to grow personally and professionally in ways that have provided me a vast and diverse track record of successes to draw from. I would describe my leadership style as one who who builds trust and has the confidence to challenge myself and others while we strive to attain our goals and objectives. I am committed to providing the teams I work with, an experience similar to one that I’ve had, an experience rich with growth and potential.
