About Greg Downs

Twenty years ago, I was awarded the "servant leader" award at a summer camp focused on growing virtuous young men into the leaders of tomorrow. The precepts of that camp ignited my obsession with successful leadership strategies and tactics. I've since had countless opportunities to test, measure and refine these leadership fundamentals while driving towards personal goals, leading sports teams, mentoring college students, managing national professional teams across multiple industries, and leading a family. What I've distilled is that leaders focus on the success of their team, consistently. What does it take to be a high-impact leader? Reflect on what lies within. Commit yourself to your ideals. Develop discipline to grow those around you, consistently. The fun part is flexing the tactics required to apply each step productively. My goal is to bring what I've learned to my network, and unpack situational tactics that can support others in their own leadership journey. Leadership is a lifelong process and I look forward to learning from those who choose to join me.
