I am an IT professional that has built a career over 25 years by providing leadership in IT departments for large mining, healthcare, manufacturing and transportation organizations. I am attracted to opportunities to collaboratively build and transform both IT and organizational capabilities in pursuit of its strategy. My successes are attributable to my knowledge of enabling enterprise technology, consistent service delivery, managing organizational change, building teams and placing an emphasis on maintaining positive and supportive relationships. A strong customer service ethic has shaped my performance and delivery of custom developed solutions, support and administration of Oracle eBusiness Suite, PeopleSoft and other integrated enterprise systems. In positions of team leadership, my investment in team member development in areas such as requirements management, root cause analysis, estimation and planning, quality assurance, change control and service management has translated into effective and highly responsive teams. In project manager roles I have employed best practices from both PMI and Agile methodologies in delivery of new applications, upgrades and enhancements to enterprise systems and infrastructure. In a senior IT leader capacity I have worked with executives to improve IT governance and planning. My experience with process improvement, effective communication and reporting, performance management and IT investment frameworks have led to improved decision making and IT alignment.
