About Greg Gerke

I am an extremely loyal employee who is young, passionate, driven, and thrives when challenged. In my almost nine years with Bed Bath & Beyond, I have become an effective and global-thinking retail professional. Starting with the company as a part-time sales associate while attending school, my customer service skills promoted me to a front desk lead. After I graduated from university I then joined the team full time and ran the receiving department for one year. I then returned to the sales floor as a bedding and bath lead, working closely with the department manager on merchandising and product ordering. After that I was promoted to Customer Service Trainer, in which I trained and developed associates on sales skills and product knowledge. Soon my efficiency and passion for sales and service promoted me to a department supervisor, in which I have worked at several stores throughout the northwest Indiana and Chicago markets. The biggest strength I bring to store management teams is my global-mindedness when it comes to the retail industry. My experience in customer service, training and development, shipping and receiving, workload time management, product ordering, creative visual merchandising, and team management make me a great asset to any company. I am seeking to further my career with a modern, competitive company as an assistant manager and eventually a store manager.
