About Greg Gidus

I handle all aspects of insurance coverage disputes—from pre-suit coverage advice to coverage trials and appeals—on behalf of insurance companies. I have extensive experience in state and federal courts across the country litigating complex and high-stakes coverage disputes involving all lines of insurance coverage, with a particular emphasis on Directors & Officers policy disputes in the private equity and insolvency space. Unique in the coverage world, I have been to trial multiple times in coverage actions with tens of millions of dollars on the line. I also routinely advise clients on extra-contractual issues, including bad faith avoidance and litigation. My work involves the development of litigation strategy on a macro level, while also being fully engaged in the of day-to-day details litigation. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and the occasional round of golf.
