Background
About Greg Giles
With the secondhand clothing industry gaining unprecedented attention for its economic strength & environmental impact, there's never been a more exciting time to join our team. Brook Valley Management and its family of companies are uniquely poised for global exponential growth. Family owned & operated; we have dedicated the last 40 years to becoming a leader in the industry. But our vision extends far beyond the racks and shelves. We're growth-oriented, charity-focused, and we celebrate our environmental impact. We’re on the lookout for exceptional, experienced talent to help us shape the next chapter of our story. Our company operates distinct branches, each playing a vital role in the sustainable clothing cycle. Donate This Recycle That, our collections branch, works with charity organizations to purchase their collected secondhand clothing. Phill the Box, our fundraising branch, provides fast and free clothing/shoe fundraisers to empower organizations in supporting their unique causes. Our retail branch is comprised of three brands: Texas Thrift, City Thrift, and Music City Thrift and it takes center stage with 30 stores spread across five states, over employees, and annual sales exceeding $100 million. For items that don't find their match in our thrift stores, our export branch, Brook Valley Textiles, grades lbs. a month into over 100 different categories for our wholesale international business clients. We proudly support charities by purchasing much of our product directly from them, providing them with a reliable revenue stream they can dedicate to their worthy causes. These causes include supporting veterans’ services; aiding outreach programs for children/mothers facing poverty, homelessness, abuse, and human trafficking; and services to families affected by childhood cancer. As stewards of the environment, we are proud to be at the forefront of change, combating the fashion industry's status as the second-largest polluter. Through resale in our stores & international export operations, these goods are given a second life, contributing to a more environmentally friendly approach to retail by keeping millions of pounds of quality goods out of landfills. Whether you're skilled in retail management, data analytics/IT, marketing, sales, textile collections, real estate, or export, there's a place for your unique skills on our team. If you're ready to join a dynamic team and advance your career while contributing to something bigger than yourself, I'd love to connect with you. Reach out today & let's start the conversation.
