About Greg Guichon
Greg graduated from the University of Western Ontario with his MBA in 1979.He worked two years in corporate banking and then joined ScotiaMcLeod (McLeod Young Weir) as an investment executive, rising quickly to the executive positions of Vice President and Director and earning 13 consecutive Chairman’s Council Awards. He joined First Associates Investments (founded in 1991) as a Partner and Head Portfolio Manager with in late In 2001, the First Associates was purchased by Rockwater Capital Corp. and was subsequently renamed Rockwater Asset Management. The firm was the bought back by Greg and his partners in 2006 and renamed Barometer Capital Management. Greg has been a Head Portfolio Manager for over 10 years, taking responsibility for the overall construction and daily management of high-net worth client accounts and various funds. In addition, Greg has insight into the financial, operational and governance aspects of running business, both from his investment experience and direct experience as a Senior Executive and as Chairman of his founded companies.
