About Greg Hatton

I am an aerospace engineer and executive with over 25 years of experience in aircraft certification, and engineering leadership. Holding an MBA, P.Eng.(FEC), and dual appointments as a Delegate Engineer with both Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA) and the Department of National Defence (DND), I bring a uniquely rare combination of business acumen, engineering authority, and regulatory trust. I'm really passionate about developing companies to be successful at Certifying Innovative Aircraft Designs and Modifications - Ie: obtaining an STC (Supplemental Type Certificates (FAA, Canada, or EASA)) and Type Certificates. This focus encompasses a Technology Management perspective that includes leadership in choosing successful products with best market potential, developing focused engineering teams, fostering excellent relationships with Government Regulators and Aircraft Operators/Customers. My ultimate goal is to increase the safety, utility and profitability of aircraft for clients and the public. Over my 25+ years of experience in this field, I have successfully completed 100s of STC and RDA programs. Further to the above, I am keen to apply this know how to the emerging electric aircraft revolution and commercial space industry, combined with my newly minted Management of Technology MBA from Simon Fraser University, Beedie School of Business.
