About Greg Johnston

Following an extensive career in the wood products industry, spanning almost three decades, I am thrilled to join the team at Structurlam Mass Timber Corporation (SMTC) as their Senior Vice President of Manufacturing and Operations. In this role, I will oversee safety, product quality, procurement and logistics, preventative maintenance, and capital equipment expenditures as it relates to the company’s manufacturing operations. At Structurlam, we are committed to prolonging a culture of continuous improvement for our manufacturing locations across North America, and have our sights set on improving our operational performance and employee engagement across the board. I look forward to leveraging my prior experience in woodlands management, lumber and OSB manufacturing, developing safety improvement plans, and implementing quality management systems to effectively manage capital projects from conception to execution.
