I have a huge desire to improve and have a passion for safety within the workplace through interaction with the workforce to find out there views on how things can be done safer and or better for everybody's benifit. More often than not the simple approch is the best way to do something safely and i dont understand why some things need to be more complicated than they need to be. Safety should and is generally a very simple thing to solve. I strongly believe in the behavioural based safety principles and feel that safety must be driven from Management all the way down to the bottom to achieve the desired result. I believe believe in the "Zero Harm" principle and strongly believe it is a realistic goal to achieve as long as every person follows the basics.
