About Greg Krische

I spent the first 27 years of my adult working life as a self employed glazing contractor, which designed, tested, manufactured, and installed custom storefront sysytems, as well as specializing in the repair of leaking window and storefont systems. For the past 3 1/2 years at Lusardi Construction Company as the Quality Control Coordinator, I have put an emphasis on improving the installation standards and methods of items that are most often the source of water intrusion. Those items include roofing, conduits and pipes through roof jacks, roof reglet flashing, sheet metal flashings, sealants, exterior paint, HVAC systems, doors, concrete wall panels and exterior hardscape at doors. My goal at Lusardi construction Company is to greatly reduce or eliminate leak related complaints in regards to the items listed above. In the past year I have qualified the company to self perform glazing. We are currently self performing installations of heavy glass entrances, glass guardrails and interior glazing in hollow metal and Timely frames. As the economy worsens, we are positioning ourselves to self perform the installation of exterior storefronts and windowalls on an as needed basis per project. In the future I would like to see Lusardi Construction Company develop our own glazing systems that we can provide to our glazing subcontractors to install on our projects, the goal would be to have a system, that would be better designed for easier installations and superior performance. Specialties: Quality Control of glazing systems, and waterproofing of building envelopes.
