About Greg Ladd

I have taught English as a Second Language for 26 years. Graduating from Elon University in 1990 with a degree in Psychology, I moved to Japan in 1991 where I lived for 13 years. I traveled all over Asia, earned a Master’s Degree from Temple University in TESOL, and married a wonderful Japanese woman who brought my first son into the world. Our younger son was born after we returned to the United States in 2004. At a boarding school in Connecticut, I taught ESL, coached baseball, and became involved in international admissions. I attended many TESOL Conferences and guided our ESL department toward a fully academic ESL curriculum. I love baseball, spending time with family, reading history, travelling, and ruminating about social issues. From my family life to my professional life, I enjoy the richness of living and working with people of all nationalities and individual differences.
