About Greg Larioni
Greg A. Larioni is Vice President and General Manager and Deputy for Lockheed Martin’s Integrated Warfare Sensor Systems business area of the Rotary Mission Systems (RMS) line of business. In this role Mr. Larioni will be inwardly focused to ensure flawless program execution for the ~$6B dollar business, and third largest line of business in Lockheed Martin. Primary responsibilities will center around daily operations to ensure achievement of sales, EBIT and cash, and budget objectives. In addition to his role in IWSS, he was named the RMS Cost Competitive Lead. Previously he served as Vice President of Radar Sensor Systems and general manager of the RMS line of business for Lockheed Martin’s Syracuse, N.Y, site. Mr. Larioni joined Lockheed Martin (formerly General Electric) in Syracuse in 1989. He held various engineering roles, including software engineering, integrated product lead, software program manager and integration & test lead. He later moved into software management positions and attended the General Electric Manager Development Program. After leaving Lockheed Martin in 1995, Mr. Larioni joined Koch Industries in Wichita, Kansas, as Director of Information Technology. In 1997, Mr. Larioni rejoined Lockheed Martin as manager of programs for the Vessel Traffic Management business. He continued to increase responsibilities leading to functional director roles including software engineering, and systems integration and test; P&L program director rules in Maritime Safety, Security and Surveillance Systems; and ground-based and airborne radar programs. He was appointed vice president, ground-based air surveillance and air & missile defense radar in 2006. In addition to these roles, Mr. Larioni served on the Board of Directors for METSTAR Joint Venture in Beijing, China, the Technical Advisory Board for Lockheed Martin Software Productivity Consortium in Reston, VA, and the Centerstate CEO Board of Directors. He currently serves on the Central New York Regional Economic Development Council for Gov. Cumo and the MEADS International Board of Directors a Joint Venture between Lockheed Martin and MBDA. Mr. Larioni received a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of Scranton and a master’s degree in information systems from George Mason University. In 2004 he completed the Harvard Advanced Managerial Development Program at Harvard Business School.
