I was once given a customer procedure video that had no sound and was asked to develop a clinical training presentation that showed our understanding of the product and procedure in order to win their business. I had no opportunity to speak with the customer to gain any background, and I had to use the video without sound. After reviewing the video several times, I realized that the customer needed a solution that broke the procedure down into small pieces to more effectively present the product. I crafted the presentation, presented my solution to the customer and subsequently won my company the business. Success, Right? I was later informed that a breakdown was not necessarily what the customer was looking for, but that my solution was much better. I am passionate about clinical, procedural and device education. Exceptional ability to cultivate customer relationships and meet customer needs-both internally and externally. My clinical experience coupled with recent and unique business know-how in selling and marketing disruptive products and services has proved to be an invaluable experience. The most important thing that I have learned throughout my career has been to listen, ask questions and strive to understand your customers’ unique desires and distinctive needs. Then deliver beyond expectations.
