About Greg Martin

I am a Junior pursuing an accounting degree and Information Technology minor as well as 150 credits for my master's degree at the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. My expected undergraduate graduation date is May 2020 and May 2021 for my master's degree. I am a member of the accounting association and have made the Dean's list each semester with a GPA of 3.81/4. Over this past summer, I was an informational services intern at Baycoast Bank in Swansea, Massachusetts. Here I was able to learn some of the operations of a bank and the use of data systems to keep customers data secure and on file. I was also able to successfully set up the new phone system and aid our branches in fixing various issues. Besides working in the informational services department, I was also invited to join the Plymouth Investment where I was able to learn about many different aspects of the stock market including various statistics, data points, and trends. I have also interned at Dias Lapalme and Martin LLC where I assisted in an audit, visited clients, finished tax returns and replicated a budget for an organization. Here I became familiar with accounting procedures, programs and environment. I am confident that the skills I have obtained from my internship as well as knowledge from my studies will prove to be benefits to any company or firm.
