About Greg Mata

As a Survey Manager at Dudek, I have been applying my skills in CAD management, utility mapping, cost estimation, and project management to deliver high-quality surveys for various clients. I have a strong background in Geomatics, I began surveying at the age of 18 as a Rod Man and quickly moved into the office within a few months while studying Computer-Aided Drafting at Wharton County Junior College and later attended night school to study Geomatics at San Jacinto College, I have over 28 years of work experience in the construction and surveying industry. Before joining Dudek, I worked as a Senior Survey CAD Technician at MBCO Engineering for four years, and as a Project Manager at Terra Surveying Company Inc. for over 15 years and various other companies early in my career. I have extensive experience in performing office work from start to finish, including background research, proposal creation, scheduling, data processing, boundary analysis, and document review. I have also performed detailed ALTA, Topographic, Utility, Tree surveys, Street Abandonment and Easement creation to City and County Requirements. I use Civil 3D to create surveys and am proficient in LDD. I am passionate about providing accurate and efficient surveying services that meet the needs and expectations of our clients. I enjoy working with a diverse and collaborative team of professionals who share the same vision and mission of Dudek: to make a positive impact on the environment and communities we serve.
