Strongly driven, both personally and professionally, to improve daily. My life's journey is to find balance and work diligently on bettering myself to ultimately have a positive impact on the individual and collective lives of others- clients, colleagues, friends and family. I have over 27 years of private and government-sector experience that has been avidly focused upon improving internal organizational performance and customer service delivery for over 300 operating departments and divisions. As a senior-level consultant, having been competitively selected by over 100 different client organizations throughout the United States, I’ve supported the operational enhancement of these agencies through varied professional services designed to: refine organizational alignment; effectively modify staffing levels; improve work processes to increase productivity; revise staff scheduling and workloads; expand performance management and measurement programs; upgrade policies and procedures; and augment the use of information technology systems. I have well-developed planning skills, have successfully managed multi-million dollar budgets, directly supervised staff numbering in the double-digits, and performed as Management’s contract negotiator with varied employee bargaining units. As Deputy Director of Auditing for the Los Angeles City Controller’s Office and Administrative Services Manager for the Orange County Sanitation District, I have served as a trusted advisor to both elected and appointed executives. I am a recognized performance management professional, having been a multiple guest lecturer at the Association of Local Government Auditors (ALGA) related to Performance Management and Measurement.
