My earliest "professional" steps were as a result of my training in American Sign Language. As a result, I've ended up in IT, a perfectly logical career path.but now, I am seeing the loop start to close back on itself. How, you ask? Well, my most recent employment at IBM (ISM Canada, a small subsidiary of IBM) involves me assisting with the implementation of Cúram, a fantastic piece of Case Management software that will hopefully allow social service organizations to better assist their clients by taking a citizen centered approach to offering services. Offering the client what they need to succeed based on the client, not what the agency has to offer. I'm very excited!
