About Greg Olberding

As a recent graduate of the Master of Urban & Regional Planning program at the Humphrey School, I am eager to leverage my planning skills to create better cities. With expertise in data analysis and GIS, effective communication skills, and a deep passion for enhancing urban environments, I am confident in my ability to contribute to both public- and private-sector planning teams. I recently completed a planning internship with the Arterial Bus Rapid Transit office at Metro Transit, where I honed my skills and gained valuable experience in areas such as corridor planning, GIS, and NEPA compliance. Prior to my planning career, I consulted for transit agencies in the zero-emission vehicle space for several years, building a strong foundation in sustainable transportation and data reporting. My professional interests include not only transit but active and multimodal transportation, land use and zoning, community and economic development, and urban design. I am primarily seeking opportunities in the Minneapolis-St. Paul and Philadelphia areas but am open to other locations as well.
