About Greg Olson

I've always been a data guy. Before I knew how to use Excel formulas or write SQL queries I was making lists with pencil and paper, gathering & memorizing facts about sports teams, world nations, US presidents, and cataloguing them away in notebooks. My 8-year-old self would be proud to know that I've never really stopped exploring data. My educational background is in math, statistics, and data science. I like to say that this was a curriculum in problem solving. I spent the first 3 years of my professional career working as an automation developer and analyst, building RPA processes, and monitoring and analyzing the constant stream of production data. I was the lead analyst for multiple client implementations, creating smart and sustainable solutions, documenting processes, solving problems with a data-driven approach, while becoming the subject matter expert for stakeholders along the way. Today, I am part of a team that is working to streamline the acquisition of clinical data that feed AI models to enhance revenue cycle operations within healthcare. Outside of work you can find me playing soccer, finding new books to read, running/hiking with friends, or planning my next weekend trip to the mountains.
