About Greg Simms
I am a member of the Energy & Sustainability workgroup at Luna Innovations and we are working on developing technologies for carbon capture, oxygen separation from air, and efficient resource use. My main technical role is currently to perform techno-economic analysis of our membrane carbon capture technology in different application. I manage and write proposals for DOE and DOD programs. In my dissertation work, I measured the pyrolytic decomposition products of real jet fuels (principally JP-10) by molecular beam mass spectrometry. I am an experimentalist interested in endothermic fuels specifically and hypersonic airbreathing propulsion generally.
