I am the Business Development Leader for the Asset Management Services (AMS) section at Black & Veatch (B&V). We are focused on the operational and maintenance aspect of Asset Management. Our Remote Monitoring and Diagnostics team specializes in leveraging data analytics to monitor and inform asset owners and operators about emerging issues days, weeks or months in advance. We then help clients through the process of determining the most cost effective course of action to avoid or minimize financial impacts. We understand how to leverage data analytics to uncover and diagnose common asset issues and deep domain expertise to diagnose the complex issues. The winners and losers in traditional industries will be separated by how they use data and data analytics to provide early identification of potential operational, maintenance and business opportunities. I am passionate about bringing real world practical data-centric solutions to these industries. One way my team does this is by leveraging data analytics for remote monitoring and diagnostics services and related software solutions. Harnessing the value of data goes beyond applying a set of software tools.
