About Greg Tarapaski

Growing up I was fortunate to live in a house with the daily paper, numerous magazines and parents who watched the evening news. This nurtured my natural curiosity in people, places, events or things and combined with my confidence and ability to ask questions had family and friends expecting me to be a news reporter, lawyer, politician or salesperson. I have had the good fortune to have played on many teams whether they be on the diamond, ice, office or board room. Each of these created a learning opportunity because I was exposed to different situations, teammates, competitors and coaches. It has nurtured my passion for coaching and fed my competitive spirit, brought me the joys of championships and the lessons only learned in defeat. Early in my career a mentor introduced me to the power of personal growth through seminars, books and audio recordings which I eagerly applied. This became a pillar of my own development and one that I incorporated with my teams and encouraged others to pursue. Emotional intelligence has been a specific focus of mine as it is a skill that can be developed with diligence. Others have described me as an empathetic listener who seeks to understand, a strategic thinker with a passion for individual development. I think of myself as a coach and problem solver who can quickly spot patterns and issues in every situation. With a focus on strengths, I believe individuals and companies can reach their full potential. Who is Greg?
