About Greg Temesi

I’m a T-shaped professional with roots in computer science and life sciences, and a career spanning academia, startups, and global pharma tech. I’ve held leadership roles at three Fortune 500 companies and managed distributed teams of 100+ FTEs across three continents. I’ve worked as a researcher, startup founder, and product & platform leader. Most recently, I’ve been accountable for connected health platforms running 200+ live clinical studies. I started my career as a software engineer and won two national IBM competitions. My PhD research focused on applied AI in translational medicine, but I found my core strength in growing and coaching teams. I’m a culture architect who believes in people-centric, positive leadership. My specialty is scaling complex socio-technical systems—especially in pharma tech and digital health, whether leading scaleups or navigating post-M&A integrations. I’ve successfully scaled teams and platforms 10x on three occasions across different stages of my career. Outside work, I’m a spiritual bookworm, jiu-jitsu blue belt now grappling mostly with aging, a traveler (60+ countries, lived in 3, speaking 4+ languages), a quant finance nerd happily “Fooled by Randomness”, and a former ant colony caregiver recently promoted to dad.
