I have great passion for finding different ways that I can connect and serve my community. I really enjoy connecting with people and volunteering. I was able to serve my country in the military with the U.S. Coast Guard as Telecommunications Specialist, rescue swimmer, search and rescue personnel.I work at Craig Insurance as a personal lines account manager. With focus on service, retention, underwriting inquiries and life insurance.My former employer Riddick Insurance had been doing volunteer work through Activate Good. We helped at Baileywick elementary (twice), Note in The Pocket, and recently at Oak City Cares. I have been a volunteer Director of Coaching for a club for players ages 4 - 18 years old. I also served as a volunteer firefighter many years ago. I also served as a volunteer firefighter many years ago. I also served as the Vice President and President of the organization. Part of that role included raising funds for operation of the Fire Department, writing By Laws, increase volunteers, working with conjunction with the county on mission objectives.I truly believe finding ways to help serve people is my "why".My expertise is in leadership, management, customer service, sales, training and development. Excellent interpersonal skills and work extremely well individually and within a team environment. With continually accomplishment of achieving company and personal goals. Managed the Insurance Agency Ownership Program in NC and SC. I have many years' experiences driving profitability through strategic growth, leading teams, and quality control. I have the ability to handle complex situations from a strategic and tactical perspective to see big picture and future implications of actions. I'm skilled at consulting and find ways to move the needle. Which consist of growing employees through personal and professional growth. While providing career growth opportunities.I am a former Agency Manager, former Sales Coach, Experienced Leadership Executive, former Quality Control Manager.My wife and three kids who have become young adults. Have called Raleigh our home for the past 17 years. My hobby is coaching youth soccer. Which I have done now for around 20 years now. But I still love to play when I can. I have tremendous passion and excitement working with the youth that are the future.
