About Greg Walling

I am an Atlanta, Georgia attorney. My law practice is primarily devoted to distinct areas of the law: corporate and business; real estate; wills, trusts and probate; and business and other litigation. In these areas, I serve most of my business clients’ needs. In corporate and business law, I set up corporations and limited liability companies for clients. I formulate operating, buy-sell, management, employment, independent contractor, consulting, confidentiality, non-disclosure, and other company agreements. I handle mergers and acquisitions. I prepare employee handbooks and at times handle employment litigation. I advise clients about termination of employees. I review and revise contracts, including in software, licensing, and technology matters. In real estate, I work primarily in commercial real estate transactions. These involve all types of commercial real estate, from shopping centers, hotels, extended stay facilities, apartment complexes, and office buildings. I represent buyers and sellers in all aspects of commercial real estate, including due diligence issues of title, environmental inspections, zoning and financing, and representation at closings. I represent clients in formulating their wills and trusts, the probate and administration of estates, and probate litigation. I represent parties in business and other litigation, often among members and partners who are in a dispute. Litigation may be before courts or in arbitration. Continuously since I have earned a Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory Legal Ability Rating of A (from Very High to Preeminent) and a General Recommendation Rating of V (Very High). Martindale-Hubbell is the premier attorney directory and awards the AV Preeminent rating, which is the highest rating it gives for professional excellence and ethical standards. I have a “Superb” rating from Avvo. I was selected to the 2023-2024 Georgia Super Lawyers lists. Super Lawyers, part of Thompson Reuters, is a research-driven, peer-influenced rating service of outstanding lawyers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. Only a few attorneys from each state are selected to the Super Lawyers designation for any given year.
