About Greg West

Greg is a former Mac computer instructor for Lambton College and a magazine and newspaper tech columnist. He has currently accepted a position as a tech columnist for Lambton Shield, an online newspaper. As a tech software and book reviewer, he has written reviews for O'Reilly Publishing, Peachpit Publishing, Microsoft and Adobe. Greg designs websites using Drupal and Joomla for and is the webmaster for: AlternateCloud.com / SCUG.ca / LambtonPresbytery.org - He is also on the web team for the Association of Personal Computer User Groups (APCUG). In his rare spare time Greg volunteers, running 3 community outreach tech help programs teaching seniors how to use: Mac, PC, and iPads/tablets. Also, he is a part of the TVCogeco crew working as a switcher, camera operator, and assistant producer. I am a reviewer for O'Reilly Publishing and have reviewed software for Microsoft and Adobe. Specialties: Mac and iPad training / video editing and camera operations. Hobbies: Wilderness Canoe Tripping (ORCKA Certified Instructor), kayaking, hiking, mountain biking and his 2 chocolate labs: Charlie and Sam who also love hiking & eating lol.
