C#.Net Framework and.Net Core- ASP.NET MVC 5- AWS (Lambda, DynamoDB, VPC, API Gateway)- SQL Server- MongoDB- Unity Game Development 2D/3D (Personal Projects)I am a happily married, father of 2, Software Developer living in Meridian, Idaho.I stumbled into Software Development when I wen to college thinking I'd make video games someday. I learned a ton and was lucky enough to accept a job near home in Idaho near family. I'm very happy I found a place that has taught me so much thus far because of the team members, the technology stack, and the problems we have had to solve. The bulk of my time has been while working on a "Feature Team" where we have Developers, Systems Analysts, and Product Owners working together using Scrum techniques to get JIRA Tickets completed within a 2-3 week Sprint.I've recently been spending more time learning about AWS and earning some certifications for it. Been helping modernize our codebase and move more projects into the Cloud/Microservice Architecture. I also recently upgraded all our.Net Framework 4.6.1 projects to 4.8. I am now learning a lot about.Net Core/.Net 6 and testing out tools that could help us migrate to those Target Frameworks in the future.I've been spending some personal time learning Unity Game Development (2D and 3D). It's very fun having a chance to write code in my own "playground" environment. It's very satisfying to get a mechanic working in Unity and then be able to instantly play around with it!
