I currently write business system requirements for corporate initiatives and facilitate the transition of these projects through the analysis, design, testing and implementation phases of the software development lifecycle. The advantages I bring to my position are my prior experience working as an underwriter and working with systems teams as a product owner and subject matter expert on projects, as well as stepping in as project manager when necessary. I analyze procedures, identify root causes of problems, and propose procedural and/or system solutions. In my current position I wear many hats and can quickly shift directions depending on which of my skills is needed for any particular situation. I enjoy analyzing problems and finding solutions that produce measurable results. I also enjoy working with a team of people who are all enthusiastic about what they do and want every step of their process to add value to the quality of their product or service.
