I am a hard working do what the company needs type of employee, started in the yard in 2004 pulling orders, unloading and loading trucks and helping customers. made Asst. Warehouse manager/Lead Yard in 06 and held that position until moving to the counter in 2018/19. Still help out in the yard when needed to circumvent the customer flow, we are one of the smallest yards in our company but pull in a lot of business with the area we are in. Do the cycle counting/inventory control on top of my Customer Service/ Sales title. Its the little things like being personable/conversations with the customers or walking your customer out to the warehouse and showing them the material if they don't know or aren't sure if it will work for the Job, that's what keeps them coming back.
