BLUE COLLAR EXPERIENCE | WHITE COLLAR WISDOM Throughout my career, I’ve found that the people I work with have a number of needs in common. For the business owners, it is either company benefits or positioning them for a succession or liquidity event before retirement. For the individuals I represent, it is creating the wealth to fulfill their individual and family needs and to comfortably transition into life after their career. My clients all seek a comprehensive plan to provide a road-map and peace of mind. I founded North East Asset Management (NEAM) in 1987 with the primary focus of creating and managing wealth for individuals, small business owners, and select professionals. My comprehensive approach incorporates the five disciplines of financial planning: Risk Management; Investing; Income Tax; Retirement; and Estate Planning using a method developed and employed by me is known as the DIME method. The objective when providing financial advice and developing financial plans is to provide tangible benefits from an intangible service, providing the benefit of a lifetime. At the center of all that I do is education. Since earning my Finance and Marketing degrees in 1983 and my CFP® in 1992, I’ve been involved in our industry associations and other organizations. As a trusted resource to the people I serve, it is imperative that I am on the cusp of an evolving industry and clients’ needs. For this reason, I am intimately involved in the Professional Advisors Committee for the CFP® certificate program, the Financial Planning Association and the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors. The ability to help others fulfill their lifestyle goals today and for their future drives me each day, but it isn’t the only thing in life. Outside the office, I spend most of my time with family. Along with my beautiful wife and 2 adult daughters, we recently welcomed our first grandchild. I love to travel, photography and coaching high school Girls Lacrosse.
