About Gregg Naranjo

Steering educational transformation at The National Math and Science Initiative, my expertise in professional development programs and pedagogical strategies has been central to delivering tailored STEM solutions to schools across the nation, evaluating program effectiveness, and ensuring continuous innovation and improvement in our educational program offerings. In collaboration with school networks and program managers, my Program Design and Innovations team strives to pinpoint precise educational needs and craft bespoke training programs, both in-person and digital for educators and school leaders. In pursuit of educational excellence, I strive to design training programs that are content focused, incorporate active learning, support collaboration amongst participants, use model of effective practice, provide coaching and expert support, and offer feedback and reflection. Our digital training programs leverage interactive software such as Microsoft Teams, Articulate 360, and the Blackboard learning management system to create more dynamic online learning environments. Our face to face training programs leverage content experts (real, experienced educators and school leaders) to ensure the most effective and update to date learning experiences are provided. Aside from the design of custom training programs for our schools, I also serve as an internal project manager for our NMSI Coaches (Content Developers and Training Facilitators) as they prepare fore events. As such I design and deliver NMSI Coach training sessions, oversee the development of training resources, organize all coach-facing training resources (including building/populating Blackboard LMS training courses), and work with our procurement department to ensure all necessary supplies are identified and secured.
