About Gregoire Courchel

Currently BIM Manager in the BIM unit of the Transformation, Offers and Projects team at SUEZ Consulting, I'm in charge of BIM missions (coordination, management) on various projects. I am actively involved in the development of skills, innovation, business development and team outreach. Previously BIM Consultant - Project Engineer at Suez Consulting & Engineering, I mainly worked on the extension of Walt Disney Studios Park, Disneyland Paris' second theme park. As part of the Eurodisneyland Imagineering team, I'm in charge of the BIM mission for Suez Consulting's activities on this project. Previously in charge of major projects at the Parc Olympique de Montréal, I have worked on various projects such as the layout of administrative offices, the renovation of the Rotonde, the administration of ticketing as well as the renovation of the roof. Member of the Olympic Park BIM committee with Ms. Marianne NGUYEN, we worked on the implementation of BIM in the POM enclosure in collaboration with the company BimOne. In parallel with my full-time work at the Parc Olympique de Montréal, I completed a final-year project research dissertation on the theme: Analysis of the implementation of a BIM strategy by a public organization such as the Parc Olympique. The focus is on the operational and maintenance dimensions of BIM, and on the tools for implementing such a strategy in a multi-stakeholder organization. This research work was carried out under the supervision of Mr. Daniel FORGUES (GRIDD) and Ms. Marianne NGUYEN (POM). After completing two years of CPGE and two years at ESTP Paris, I held various professional responsibilities thanks to two initial internships in two major groups in the built environment field. Firstly, at COLAS, a subsidiary of the BOUYGUES group, as a works manager. Secondly at Cushman & Wakefield Design+Build as assistant project manager on various large-scale projects such as the MOVE project. From September 2021, I joined ETS Montréal where I'm doing a double master's degree specializing in project management and BIM.
