About Gregor Falconer

A proven people manager with over 6 years experience in managing diverse teams of up to 25 staff members at any one time. Thanks to my degree and experience at work, I have had involvement with a wide range of employee relations issues. For example, my previous role as a hospitality manager put me as the first point of contact for employee grievances. Through managing large teams I have also become skilled at upholding company policy and intervening when necessary. To this end, I have personally drafted and issued HR documentation that incorporates both a knowledge of current employment law and company policy. I have also honed my verbal communication skills as a result of regularly setting out clear plans and expectations to my team for the day ahead while also resolving customer queries in a timely and respectful manner. Lastly, I am experienced in deploying learning and development activities in the workplace. In my last management role I would regularly train/onboard new members of staff and upskill other employees on new stations or with new knowledge.
