About Gregory Brewer

As a Senior Manager in Global Safety Operations, my drive for excellence is reflected in the exceptional work performed by the team of ICSR Case Processors and Submissions Officers I lead. I pride myself in allowing my team room to perform and grow in their role while steering them in the direction that ensures all departmental and company goals are reached. This builds a strong, independent team that can perform well in the fast-paced environment that is Drug Safety. Throughout my tenure in Drug Safety, I have learned the value of cross-functional collaboration. I regularly worked with other teams (including IT, Clinical Operations, Sales, Training, etc.) on pivotal projects to better our department and theirs. This regular collaboration has honed my project management skills to ensure all updates to our systems and processes are compliant and carried out in a timely fashion. My leadership skills, along with the knowledge of ICSR case processing and submissions I have obtained, allow me to confidently lead Safety Operations teams. I have regularly contributed during audits and inspections, including directly defending my teams’ processes during interviews. I have also developed SOPs, work instructions, and other procedural documents used by our team to excel in their roles. Overall, I am a hard worker that knows the quality of my work directly affects the quality of life-saving products that make it to market.
